Therapy Dogs Help You
Feel Better Even
While Coping With Life’s
Difficulties!
|
From
time to time, you
might find
you need the
professional feedback provided in the process of talk therapy. My aim
is to make this process easier for you by adding the unconditional love
of JASON, my therapy dog.
|
 |
|
I hope
that his presence added to my
interpersonal and
interactive
approach to counseling makes the sometimes tough process of self
reflection, self improvement or relationship improvement easier for
you.
|

|
- Makes the process of talk therapy easier to
get started.
- Reduces anxiety and blood pressure. You can
hold and pet Jason while we talk.
- Helps keep you focused on relaxing
while you problem solve.
- Makes it easier to come back and talk about
the tough issues you need to resolve.
- Reduces isolation and depression for
hospital and rehabilitation patients, assisted living or nursing home
residents.
- Gives you something to look forward to
during the course of talk therapy.

|
Jason is an added benefit to the counseling process at no additional
charge. If you don’t have mental health or EAP ( Employee Assistance
Program) under your insurance or employee benefit plans, then I
will discuss a fee that fits your personal situation.
